have to laugh. Because laughter, we already know, is the first evidence of freedom." ~ Rosario Castellanos

I've learned in my years as a competitive wheelchair athlete
is this -- what separates a winner from the rest of the pack
is not raw talent or physical ability; instead it is the
drive and dedication to work hard every single day, and the
heart to go after your dream, no matter how unattainable
others think it is." ~ Linda Mastandrea

Mary, you
really made me stop and think about a lot of things - yes
things have been bad for me in the past, but we all have to
look for the positive in every situation we are given. I
just wanted to let you know that you really inspired me, and
that has not happened in a very long time. So for all of this I want to give
you a big thank you, and I also want you to know how much I
appreciate it."
Christie

P.S. I also want you to know that you
have inspired me to take up the violin
as I have always wanted to do, so this
weekend you can find me at the music
store. |

The first step to waking up your genuine enthusiasm is
smiling a
16 Second Smile.
Before you go further or click onto another page, please just try this now: Breathe in slowly
and smile. As you slowly release your breath, focus on your heart, and gradually
smile as big as you can, so that you create crinkles around your eyes.
Show your teeth. Keep smiling and slowly repeating the words "Thank You," while
you inhale and exhale - slowly - three times or for at least 16 seconds. Now relax.
Notice how you're feeling. Do you feel a little tingly and lighter?
That's the beginning of tapping into your genuine enthusiasm.
Science has proven that you have just flooded your body with
stress-relieving, pleasure-increasing endorphins.
Breathing like this activates your EnthusiMaster (like a Stairmaster or ThighMaster for your mind but
much easier, less expensive and more fun!) that will help you stay
inspired and energized throughout the rest of your day.
If you want to keep your flow of enthusiasm moving through you rather
than having it get stuck or disappear in the middle of challenges
throughout your day, subscribe
for free to Living with Enthusiasm updates and I'll give you as a
gift the first 4 weekly sessions of the Living with Enthusiasm Self-Coaching Guidebook and Joy Journal
and the Enthusiasm eMinders. Before you go any farther,
